The Mat Lab offers private doormat painting parties, where you and your guests can design custom doormats in a fun, relaxed environment. Host the event in the comfort of your home or at a venue of your choice—we’re mobile and happy to travel!
Every party includes live music, creating the perfect atmosphere for fun and creativity.

Every party comes with a professional DJ to set the perfect vibe for your event!
Requirements:
A minimum of 10 participants or a total event minimum of $600 is required to book your private party.

A plain, 18x30 coir doormat
A variety of paint colors & stencil brushes
A stencil with a design of your choosing
Customized Mat Lab apron
Location
The Mat Lab brings the party to you! All bookings include a DJ!
Local Events: No travel fee applies for venues within 30 miles of our location.
Extended Travel: A travel fee applies to venues located more than 30 miles from our base.
Out-of-State Events: As a mobile business, we’re happy to travel to other cities and states email us for custom quotes!
Please note: Tables and chairs are not provided by The Mat Lab, so please ensure these are available at your chosen venue.
Pricing:
10-50 Guests $60 per person
51-99 Guests $55 per person
100-150 Guests $50 per person

Deposit:
A $150 non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking. This deposit will be applied toward your total party balance.
The remaining balance is due no later than 14 days before your event.
Cancellation Policy:
All bookings are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date if canceled at least 30 days prior to the event date for an additional fee.
Cancellations Made Less Than 30 Days in Advance: No refunds or transfers will be issued.
Party Duration
The time you book is the time allotted for your event. We kindly ask that all events adhere to the scheduled time. If additional time is desired and we have availability, we may be able to extend your event; however, additional fees will apply. Please note that exceeding the reserved time without prior arrangements will also incur additional charges.
